Victor Beyazit Eraslan

Bachelor of Architecture, Carnegie Mellon University, Class of 2024

Registered Architect_Turkey_2025 [pending]

Born in Istanbul, Turkey and raised in Bucharest, Vienna, St. Gallen, and Almaty, VBE is an architect, cultural cartographer, and explorer of vernacular futures. His work navigates the intersections of infrastructure, landscape, and identity, informing a design philosophy rooted in global perspectives and sustainable urbanism.

From childhood days spent memorizing transit maps to traveling across 44 countries in search of architectural wisdom, VBE sees design as a dialogue between past and future. His philosophy, sustainable vernacular abstraction, reinterprets traditional building techniques for modern climates, emphasizing the fusion of natural landscapes and urban fabric.

Fluent in English and Turkish, and conversational in 5 more languages while deeply engaged with material cultures, VBE is equally drawn to the tangible (rock formations, wooden mansions, ancient temples) and the ephemeral (movement, language, scent). His interests range from hiking and skiing to backpacking and numismatics, reflecting a lifelong fascination with collecting and curating experiences.

One day, he hopes to build his ultimate megadesk — a space where maps, models, and ideas converge into endless creative possibilities.
